Calcannia Shiraz

Nestled in the Clare Valleys Stanley Flat region, is Calcannia. 130km due north of Adelaide, and 6 km north of the township of Clare. Its moderate-continental climate enjoys cool nights and long warm summer days, retaining crisp acidity, balance and structure in their wines .

Deep plum in colour. On the nose peppery hints overlay the ripe mulberry and plum aromas. A sophisticated and savoury shiraz with well balanced fruit sweetness and smooth tannins. Spicy, rich with a long finish. This wine can be drunk now or will cellar for up to 8 years from release.
