Product Description
Château des Caravettes is close to Pic Saint Loup in Midi. It has a long history, dating back to 1273, over the years the Domain has changed owners but all had the passion of viticulture.
The blend is exactly what is says on the bottle. Even with its garage wine looks the wine is still traditionally made; total destemming, temperature controlled fermentation and then aged in French oak barrels for 10 months.
The colour is dark garnet; intensive layered nose with aromas dominated by red and black fruits at late maturity, plus notes of rosemary and mint. Full bodied, silky smooth on the palate with a long finish.
