Product Description
Patz & Hall was founded in 1988 by four talented individuals: Donald Patz, James Hall, Anne Moses, and Heather Patz. Together, they turned Patz & Hall into one of California’s most highly regarded wineries with a celebrated portfolio of single-vineyard wines. To achieve their goal of making exceptional limited production wines from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the four founders each focused their specialised knowledge and expertise on different areas of the winery’s operations. All wines are made at their state-of-the-art winery in Sonoma – which was designed by winemaker James Hall
Aged in Burgundian oak barrels, the Patz and Hall Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir comes from thirteen different vineyard plots. 10% of the fruit goes into fermentation as whole clusters. The nose is fragrant with five spice and cocoa, whilst the palate offers delicious flavours of dried cherry, cranberry, strawberry, and kirsch.
