The FMC Chenin Blanc

Produced by Ken Forrester, a man who is widely considered to be a legend within South African wine production, especially Chenin Blanc. This particular wine 'The FMC' is from the icon range of wines from the vineyards portfolio.

In Forrester's words 'The Icon Range are wines from single parcel vines, where an older special vineyard like a small postage stamp on the map, produces exceptional fruit and extremely low yields and here we attempt to make a statement of purity, intensity, complex concentration of fruit and elegant balance.  These wines are crafted in small quantities and continually score extremely high points across all rating scales locally and internationally '.

Rich, layered with dried apricot, vanilla and honey. A massively complex wine that can be drank young but will also gain additional complexity with cellaring.
